ChipVORX I/O moduler til FPGA embedded instrumenter
GOEPEL electronic udvider programmet af ChipVORX I/O moduler til FPGA embedded instrumenter (in english).
GOEPEL electronic announces the availability of FXT-X136-GT8, another ChipVORX I/O Module for FPGA embedded instrument utilization. The new module is serially controlled via a standard JTAG TAP, adding the ability to exploit a complete ChipVORX eco design of FPGA assisted test and programming procedures for external instrumentation.Users are now able to ensure structural test coverage for both a UUT’s peripheral area and inner area using the same principles and tools.
- In addition to conventional interfaces, product innovations increasingly use serial Gbit links to transfer data at high-speed within a system as well as externally. Our new ChipVORX module particularly addresses such applications, explains Thomas Wenzel, Managing Director of GOEPEL electronic’s Boundary Scan Division.
In connection with existing ChipVORX IP, users can verify the peripheral transfer channels’ quality by Bit Error Rate Tests (BERT) and eye diagram analysis. That means an extraordinary synergy to onboard applications and, moreover, an easy extension of installed test systems.
- The latest ChipVORX module completes the Embedded System Access strategy perfectly, when testing inside-out in contrast to outside-in. Though the ChipVORX module is external of the test subject, it can be embedded in the fixture, adapter or test system as an extremely flexible test hardware, Lars Kongsted-Jensen from the Danish distributor, EP-TeQ adds.
- The module can be used as external Bscan channels with precise diagnosis as well as functionel I/O channels or external embedded instrument with huge financial
gain.
