Ultrakompakt WiFi modul
Flaircom tilbyder WiFi modul, der kun fylder 10,4 x 10,5 mm. Modulet er baseret på chipssæt fra Marvell (in english).
The WFMD481 from Flaircomm is a new ultra compact WiFi module based on Marvell 8686 chipset, measuring only 10.4 x 10.5mm. This low power, high performance surface mount module can be used in many portable applications like cellular handsets, PDAs, panel pc's, car audios, netbooks, Ebooks and smartphones.
The data transmission supports the IEEE 802.11b/g standard, rating a maximum of 54Mbit/s. The host interface supports SDIO and GSPI. Especially for development there is a WFMD481 development kit available.
The module has intelligent power control and include IEEE802.11 power saving mode. The internal WEP engine allows 64 or 128 bits Encryption with TKIP Protocol(TKIP) The is full coexistence with Bluetooth and the operating temperature: -30° to +70°C
