Modulære panel PC'er til industrielle applikationer

DATA MODUL lancerer nye 7”, 10.1” og 12.1” industrielle panel PC i widescreen format, der er baseret på firmaets egenudviklede eDM-CB-Colibri carrier board (in english).

Based on a modular concept DATA MODUL develops system solutions for a variety of demanding applications. Particularly, long-time availability of products plays an increasing role in today’s industrial environment. Therefore, DATA MODUL focuses more and more on proprietary product development.

The new 7” (18cm), 10.1” (26cm), und 12.1” (31cm) Industrial Panel PCs in widescreen format are based on DATA MODUL’s eDM-CB-Colibri carrier board. The pin-compatible Colibri ARM embedded computer on module product family supports NVIDIA Tegra 2 & 3, Freescale Vybrid & I. MX6 processors. Due to its scalable performance it can be optimized for specific applications.

Monitor versions in above mentioned sizes are available for the connection to existing computer systems. The integrated LCD controller board eMotion ST2:2 comes with RGB and DVI input and allows the operation of the OSD via RS232. The DDC/CI increases the efficiency significantly and turns DATA MODUL monitors into intelligent and universally applicable plug & play solutions.
The simple open frame design of Panel PC and monitor version facilitates the integration in existing and new installations.

Furthermore, DATA MODUL delivers kit solutions for pre-defined housing designs, consisting of TFT panel, LVDS/TTL RGB cable, backlight cable and embedded or controller boards in above mentioned configurations.

Optionally, versions with resistive or projective capacitive touch screen can be offered. Both technologies guarantee high functional accuracy when operating with fingers and gloves.
DATA MODUL’s projective capacitive touch will be available in combination with the latest Atmel T-series shortly, which is a major step forward in technology. The extensive improvements include higher resolutions of touch sensors, an even more precise operation with gloves, stabile and exact operation under wet conditions and the integration of even stronger and thicker cover glasses.

Customized versions for specific application environments and according to individual requirements can be realized on request.
