Mini-ITX board med dual core Atom-processor
AAEON introducerer første Mini-ITX board, der er bygget omkring Intel Atom N450/D510 processorer (in english).
AAEON announces a brand new Mini-ITX Embedded Motherboard that adopts the Intel Atom N450/D510 processor. This is the first Mini-ITX form factor that will utilize the dual-core Intel AtomTM processor designed to enhance performance and versatility in many applications.
Although this embedded motherboard is not the mainstream form factor in the embedded market, the EMB-LN9T equips the most expandable interfaces and functions for diverse applications.
The EMB-LN9T has the Intel AtomTM processor N450 or D510 preinstalled which utilizes the Intel Hyper-Threading Technology with the Intel ICH8M chipset. The board will support two 200-pin DDR2 SODIMM DDR2 533/667 RAM modules, up to 4GB.
In addition, for the network transmission, you can choose different Ethernet solutions to equip one or two Gigabit Ethernet devices or two 10/100Base-TX Ethernet devices to meet your application and pricing requirements. Two SATA interfaces and one ATA-compatible CompactFlash interface offer ample storage options. One PCI slot, one Mini-PCI interface, one Mini Card interface, eight USB2.0 ports, up to 10 COM ports as well as an LPC port provide versatile expansion.
The PCI slot will also allow for PCI-Express x 1 through a custom riser card, upon request. The EMB-LN9T offers this multitude of expansion interfaces so system integrators may be able to easily expand their embedded system and allow for increased versatility.

The EMB-LN9T supports simultaneous/dual view display CRT and LVDS and the display chipset has an integrated hardware MPEG2 decoder. The LCD interface currently deploys 18-bit single channel interface but could be made to support 24-bit LVDS, upon request. Furthermore, it can be equipped with optional DVI interface in lieu of the LVDS interface in order to enhance the display function for vertical markets such as multimedia, digital signage, and outdoor billboards.
