DATA Modul lancerer Mini-ITX baseboard til ARM/x86 Qseven moduler, der er optimeret til at drive store paneler op til 82 tommer (WUXGA).
With the eDM-mITX-CB-Q7-Info DATA MODUL presents a new Mini-ITX baseboard that fits perfectly for 'Digital Signage' applications. This innovative design uses the Qseven Standard in order to build systems with ARM based CPU Modules or x86 based CPU Modules.This baseboard is optimized and certified for the following modules:
- ARM Qseven: eDM-QMX6 (i.MX6 Quad Core), eDM-DMX6 (i.MX6 Dual Core),
- eDM-DLMX6 (i.MX6 Dual Core lite)
- X86 Qseven: conga-QA3 Intel Atom E3845 Quad Core,
- conga-QA3 Intel Atom E382x Dual Core, conga-QA3 Intel Atom E3815 Single Core
With this configuration it´s possible to develop slim and fanless systems with enough performance to drive large size TFTs. The power sequencing, which is needed to drive such large panels is provided by an onboard microcontroller and adapted for each panel. For sure the 2x24 Bit LVDS is available as basic interface. The according display cables are normally available from stock at DATA MODUL, the market leader for TFTs.
The eDM-mITX-CB-Q7-Info offers the following interfaces (partly depending on the used module) in the I/O field for direct connection: 1 x RS232, 1-2 x Gigabit Ethernet, 2 x USB 2.0/3.0, 1 x USB OTG, 1 x DVI-D, 1 x DisplayPort 1.2, 1 x Audio Line Out.
Internal available to connect: more USB Ports, CAN, SPI, GPIOs, I²C, SD-Card.
Optional it´s possible to mount optical isolated RS485/422 Interface modules.
One more specialty is the 2,5“ SATA slot. With this slot the needed SSD or HDD is connected without cable and additional already integrated mechanically without any extra effort.
The baseboard is supplied with + 12VDC or +24VDC and optional (if needed by the system) with additional +5VDC standby voltage. Thereby no additional power rails are needed in the system design and this saves costs.
To fulfill all wishes for digital signage applications it´s possible to connect IR-remote control interface, light sensors, external LEDs, temperature sensors and up to 6 PWM system fans. Therefore DATA MODUL offers an own Monitoring Software for Linux operating systems (QT) and Windows operating systems.
