Nexcom lancerer blæserløst 3.5" board med GPU til imageprocessering samt USB 3.0 support, ligesom boardet understøtter et bredt operativt temperaturområde (in english).
The new EBC 355 series of 3.5-inch boards from Nexcom is based on the multi-core SoC Intel Atom processor E3800 product family (formerly codenamed 'Bay Trail'). This series of 3.5-inch boards operates at wide temperature range with low power consumption, and features USB 3.0 ports and Intel Gen 7 Graphics with multi-display support. NEXCOM's EBC 355 series of 3.5-inch boards are aimed at embedded applications.
The EBC 355 series support a maximum memory of 8GB DDR3L SDRAM. It also offers four USB 3.0 ports along with three display outputs of VGA, HDMI and LVDS to provide the flexibility to support a range of peripherals and dual display.
The 3.5-inch boards support wide operating temperature range, and are available in an extended temperature model, EBC 355X, that supports up to -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The EBC 355 series is ideal for battery-powered portable devices, multimedia HMI panels, outdoor systems installed in harsh environments, home automation and thin clients.
The 3.5-inch boards with USB 3.0 connection can enable faster collection of patient data for portable health monitoring devices. In addition, with 3D and video hardware acceleration support, the EBC series can provide faster image processing for handheld ultrasound machines, and offer a more precise visualization of process controls in industrial automation.
Designed for harsh outdoor environments, the EBC 355 series is ideal for gate control systems, gas station kiosks and public information displays.
