AAEON lancerer COM-QM87 COM Express Type 6 modul, der sigter mod områder som gaming, medico, detailhandel, multimedia distribution samt de såkaldte IP narrowcasting applikationer (in english).
AAEON announces the release of the new COM-QM87 COM Express Type 6 module with low power 22nm monolithic BGA type Intel Core i-Series processors. It’s mainly designed to meet the needs of growing gaming industry IP narrowcasting.Complimented by the Intel QM87 PCH chipset, the COM-QM87 module boasts superb graphic performance with hardware decoder and Intel Clear Video HD technology, supporting the state-of-the-art 4K2K display technology.
It’s capable of processing 4K2K video perfectly and it allows 4K2K videos, live broadcasts and high-res digital content to be distributed and displayed on high-performance end devices such as digital signage controllers. These features make COM-QM87 suitable for gaming, medical, retail, multimedia distribution and IP Narrowcasting applications.
The COM-QM87 is a Type 6 COM Express CPU module which adopts the 4th Generation Intel Core processor and mobile Intel QM87 Express chipset, offering low-power and enhanced graphic performance over the previous COM Express CPU modules.
The two SODIMM sockets support up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. Storage requirements are easily met through its four SATA 3.0 ports. The Intel Gigabit Ethernet controller provides for quick networking applications in addition to the I/O interfaces of the Type 6 COM Express that includes twelve USB ports, one PCIe[x16], seven PCIe[x1], one LPC bus and one SMBus.
In addition, the advanced Intel AMT 9.0 technology will radically improve remote management for networked computers and appliances. With built-in visual engines supported by the 4th Generation Intel Core i7/i5 processors, the COM-QM87 has faster HD video streaming and processing ability for up to three simultaneous displays through CRT, LVDS, HDMI, DisplayPort (DP) or DVI (through DDI).
