Aaeon lancerer nye grønne controllere
Aaeon er klar med ny energieffektive controllere med Intel Atom processorer (in english).
Aaeon has introduced a new member of its 'Green Embedded Controller' series, GES-2200F. The GES-2200F is based on a Intel Atom processor with two 200-pin DDR2 667/800 DIMM RAM, allowing up to 4GB of system memory.
The GES-2200F features the Intel AtomM N450/D410/D510+ICH8M chipset and is equipped with a 2.5" Hard Disk Drive bay with SATA II interface, four USB 2.0 ports, and one CompactFlashTM to offer ample storage.
- This Green Embedded System is certified by ENERGY STAR. ENERGY STAR is an international standard for energy-efficient electronic equipment and is created by the U.S. Environment Protection Agency (EPA). The GES-2200F is compliant with ENERGY STAR regulations, says Curtis Lai, Product Manager of Aaeon's Industrial System Division.
- In practicing eco friendly ideas, the GES-2200F shows green concepts, such as adopting low power Intel Atom processors, green manufacturing, and environmentally-friendly packaging to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions. The GES-2200F represents the future of products developed by Aaeon.
The GES-2200F is compatible with common operating systems such as Windows XP, Windows 7, and Linux. Key highlights include its condensed appearance with desktop and wallmount options to fit into space-limited areas and its ideal application uses for mobile needs and vehicle use such as tractor/truck driving.
This model is powered with a 12V DC in power supply that is required by transportation applications. In addition, it shows the flexibility and cost-effectiveness that can be easily recommended for existing systems or integrated to system planning.
