I forbindelse med Electronica 2014 introducerede DATA MODUL de såkaldte easyTouch SITO touch screen sensor med en række attraktive features (in english).
At Electronica 2014 , DATA MODUL unveiled the first generation of the so called easyTOUCH SITO sensors. SITO (Single sided ITO) is a PCAP technology realized by a lay-out of X and Y (ITO) on one side of the glass substrate by using bridges as insulators at the crossing points of both electrodes.EasyTOUCH SITO sensors are produced on a TFT/color filter production line on 0.7, 0.55 or 1.1mm thick glass substrate together with a cover glass with in-house LOCA bonding provided by DATA MODUL. Furthermore, this technology and production technique allows us to have ultra-narrow bezel due to very fine design.
Another important aspect of easyTOUCH SITO is to be completely based on Atmel maxTouch T- Series controllers which gives us the possibility of glove usage and using the touch with water droplets. Some of the other major advantages of easyTOUCH sensors over GFF and GG sensors are the enhanced temperature range of -30°C to +85°C and very high SNR (signal-to-noise ratio).
Currently released easyTOUCH SITO screens are designed in 10.1” / 12.1” / 15.6” and available to the market. The strategic decision is to introduce a wide range of SITO line-up in easyTOUCH family which is already in development and prototyping phase.
