SynQor er klar med 1/4 brick DC/DC konverterer, der honorerer de strenge krav i bl.a. EN50155 standarden med sigte på brug i jernbane-applikationer (in english).
The RQ1B from SynQor is a member of the RailQor line series quarter-brick fixed switching frequency DC-DC converters that provides an isolated (reinforced) dc power and meets the stringent requirements for railway applications in accordance to the EN50155 standard. These converters use SynQor's synchronous rectifier based technology to achieve an efficiency rating of up to 91%.The RQ1B series provide a wide input range of 66-160V and are available with 5V, 12V, 15V or 24V output voltages with a maximum output power of 150W. Power dissipation is so low that no heatsink is necessary to operate at full power at 85°C in an enclosed environment without airflow¹.
The RQ1B modules include control features such as remote sense, output voltage trim, and on/off control. They also include protection features such as input under-voltage lockout, output current limit and short circuit protection, active back-bias current limit, output over-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown. Each module is supplied completely encased to provide protection from the harsh environments.
