The new CoinPower CP1654 from Varta Microbattery delivers 3.7 volt with a capacity of 100mAh. The CP1654 has a small design and weight, and with these specs it is possible to save cost in the assembly stage of the application production.The CP1654, features a number of patented technical innovations. These improvements are a new sealing system ILok, new coil process technologies, cell enclosure design, coil contact isolation technology and laser coil connection. The new design delivers superior mechanical stability compared to pouch cells the CP1654 cells exhibit virtually no swelling.
Energy density in the CP1654 is up to 30% higher than comparable products and may be recharged over 1000 full cycles above 80% of their initial capacity.
The cell can be fast charged in half an hour. Charging can be accomplished using standard charging ICs for reduced complexity in the circuit design.
