Mains-konnektorer kan 'brydes' under belastning

Neutrik lancerer 16A/250V mains konnektorer med et matingsystem, der tillader, at konnektoreren kan trækkes ud under belastning (in english).

The powerCON TRUE1 series from Neutrik is a 16A/250V true mains connector with twist lock mating system. It replaces appliance couplers wherever a very rugged solution in combination with a locking device is needed in order to guarantee a safe power connection.

The powerCON TRUE1 is a connector with high-breaking capacity (CBC), i.e. it can be connected or disconnected under load or live. Large amounts of electrical equipment can now be connected without worrying that interruptions to the current will cause a catastrophic electric arc.

This a complete connecting system includes inlet and outlet couplers for easy daisy-chaining of equipment and a water resistant ready-made cord sets (IP65). For dense place requirements a unique duplex chassis connector combines an inlet and outlet coupler. The million fold proven Neutrik bayonet locking system prevents inadvertent disconnection. Overmolded local connectors on request and cables are available in different lengths.

Applications include audio, video and concerts and other staged productions.
