Elmatica-leverandør opnår ESA-godkendelse
PCB-leverandøren Invotec Group - der i Skandinavien er repræsenteret af Elmatica - har netop formelt fået status som 'European Space Agency, ESA' godkendt leverandør (in english).
Elmatica´s ESA partner Invotec Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturer of high-technology PCBs has formally been awarded the European Space Agency (ESA) approval. Invotec is the first PCB supplier to be awarded this capability for many years and last week they were also awarded the ESA approval for flex rigid as the sole manufacturer with this approval.ESA is Europe’s gateway to space. An international organisation with 20 Member States, its mission is to shape the development of Europe’s space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world. By coordinating the financial and intellectual resources of its members, it can undertake programmes and activities far beyond the scope of any single European country.
Invotec has a rich space heritage, manufacturing HDI and HDI flex-rigid boards for a variety of ESA and non-ESA space programmes.
- Elmatica has delivered PCBs to space equipment as e.g. the Mars Rover so we are delighted that our partner has been awarded this approval as this will allow us to support our customers on a broader technological basis”, says CEO Didrik Bech.
The approval is a formal acknowledgement of the technological and manufacturing capability and commitment to ultra-high reliability PCBs. The Invotec Group is anxious to contribute to future ESA projects and to offer the Space Industry the technology, quality, service and financial strength it requires.
- Our partner in the Scandinavian region Elmatica is the only company with the knowledge and
experience to support these projects in that region and we look forward to addressing
these projects together with them, says Invotec Group’s managing director Tim
Tatton.
