Atlantik Elektronik kan nu tilbyde et ultra low power Wi-Fi modul, BC188, fra Blue Creation (in english).
Atlantik Elektronik presents an ultra low power Wi-Fi module for all IoT applications if costs and easy integration are important, the BC188 from Blue Creation. The BC188 matches applications like personal health devices, home automation as well as for commercial and industrial.The very adaptable Wi-Fi module based on an ARM Cortex-M4 CPU with 200MHz and is equipped with 512kB RAM and a complete embedded TCP-Stack with HTTP, IPV4/V6 and WPA/WPS. Furthermore there are advanced features like safe over the air firmware-upgrades and a simultaneously SoftAP/client contained.
The Wi-Fi module integrates a webserver, a filesystem and supports optionally the Apple-Home Kit. BC188 can run standalone. A LUA interface is provided so users can write their own LUA scripts to run on the module.
Blue Creation´s BC188 involve different power modes and is switching automatically. It consume only up to 92µA in Wi-Fi mode and 36µA during the shut-down.
In addition the BC188 has got a hosted webserver, which can be used and controlled without writing a single row code. BC188 comes pre-loaded with Melody-Wi-Fi and can be controlled by very simple UART commands, also with Cloud access. In only a few minutes the Wi-Fi module is furnished and works.
Because of the integrated Cloud Service and the included software, the development time and Time to Market does reduce enormous. As already at BC127 and BC118, the firmware of the BC188 can be customized for the customers needs.
The very flexible Wi-Fi module BC188 comes with an integrated antenna and the ability to connect an external one for Antenna Diversity. BC188 has a very small form factor of 22mmx15.5mmx1.5mm. Also it is FCC, CE and IC certified.
