The SIM800F from SIMCom is a complete low power quad band GSM/GPRS solution in a SMT form factor. This ultra-compact reliable wireless module is the perfect solution for size sensitive applications, especially if the demands for your design is slim and compact.This module provides features such as: embedded AT, MMS, SSL encryption, jamming detection, industrial & serial interface, antenna diagnostics e.g.. Its compact form factor (only 24x24x3mm), low power consumption and extended temperature make the SIM800F the best choice for applications such as telematics, smart metering, industrial controllers, vending machines, tracking devices and other M2M applications.
The SIM800F is socket/pin compatible with the SIM900 and allows you to evolve smoothly to newer hard- & software in order to keep pace with changing technology.
