
SMD-baseret antenne til ISM og LP-WAN applikationer
Atlantik Elektronik kan nu leveres Antenova's Grandis antenne, der kan overflademonteres og sigter mod brug i ISM og LP-WAN applikationer (in english).
Atlantik Elektronik offers with the new SMD antenna Grandis an additional antenna from Antenova´s family lamiiANT. The Grandis is for LP-WAN applications including the new 3GPP-standards Cat. NB1 (NB-IoT) and Cat. M1 as well as Sigfox, LoRa and Weightless-P. The antenna is particularly suitable for worldwide use in industrial, medical and scientific applications as well as Smart Metering, network devices, manufacturing automation, agricultural and environmental monitoring and consumer tracking.
With dimensions of only 12 x 11 x 1.6mm the Grandis is one of miniature antennas. As an additional member of the lamiiANT family the Grnadis enables a frequency range from 863 MHz to 870 MHz and from 902 MHz to 928 MHz and can be operated in a wide ambient temperature range from -40°C to +140°C.
The SMD antenna is shipped on tape and reel and such best suited for normal assembly in high volumes. The Grandis comes in Left and Right hand versions to give designers a choice of locations for the antenna on a PCB.
Antenova’s antenna design team has adopted a philosophy of Design for Integration (DFI) where the design approach is to create an antenna that a product designer can place on a PCB and integrate with the other circuits in a convenient way, rather than designing a product to fit around the antenna.
In addition to the NB-IoT antenna Grandis, Atlantik Elektronik offer the matching multi-mode module BG96 for LTE Cat-M1 & Cat-NB1 & EGPRS from his partner Quectel. The module is based on the MDM9206 chipset from the Atlantik Elektronik partner Qualcomm. The antenna featured a extremely low power consumption.
Therefore it is a perfect solution for battery-powered IoT applications and is also suitable for voice and SMS message services.
