Penta-band cellulare antenner til M2M applikationer
Atlantik Elektronik lancerer GSM/GPRS/UMTS cellulare antenner til brug i forbindelse med en bred vifte af M2M applikationer (in english).
Atlantik Elektronik presents the new Antenova Rubra penta-band antenna as an additional component for solutions in the M2M market. Being a surface mount device, the Rubra A10393 perfectly fits into embedded applications. Those manifold applications comprise for instance track&trace, POS (Point-of-Sales) or meter reading.
With the SMD antenna Rubra A10393, Antenova extends its gigaNova family. The members of this family are already market leading in the areas of integrated antennas for 2.4 GHz applications (Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, WiFi), GPS or GSM/GPRS/UMTS. As especially in products which are produced in average quantities very often standard solutions are required and in addition the wireless communication is increasing, the Rubra hits a continuously growing market.
With an efficiency of about 75% in the lower frequency band (824 - 960MHz) and about 65% in the higher frequency band (1710 - 2170MHz) the Rubra belongs with dimensions of only 40 x 10.4 x 3.2 mm to the most powerful products of its kind. A tuning network adapts the antenna perfectly to its environment. Here the designer can either work based on the default values out of the data sheet or take advantage of the additional tuning service offered by Atlantik Elektronik and Antenova.
The new Rubra A10393 is a halogen-free product that is shipped in tape & reel. For testing the performance and as a reference according evaluation boards are available. Especially with the GSM/GPRS modules out of the Quectel family Atlantik Elektronik’s customers benefit from a powerful, low-current-draw, and optimized combination.
