GNSS antenne til embedded applikationer
Atlantik Elektronik kan nu levere GNSS antenne til embedded applikationer, der understøtter alle eksisterende og kommende satellit-baserede navigationssystemer (in english).
Atlantik Elektronik complements its antenna offering with Antenova’s new Multi-GNSS antenna Brevis. The new antenna can receive not only the signals of the American GPS, but also those of the Russian GLONASS, the Chinese Beidou, and in the future those of the European Galileo.Beside signals of the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) of course also those of the local systems such as the Japanese QZSS and of the complementary SBAS systems such as WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, etc. can be received.
The Brevis with a footprint of 11 x 6 mm and a height of 3 mm only is an SMD antenna and therefore ideal for normal assembly. Its high average efficiency of 50% and the nearly omni-directional receiving characteristics are already reached with a PCB area of 40 x 30 mm.
The area below the antenna itself stays free of copper. With these small requirements towards PCB real estate the Brevis-GNSS is optimally prepared for small mobile devices in need of location information. Here GNSS receivers such as CSR’s SiRFstar IC or UMTS modems such as Quectel’s UC20 with integrated GNSS functionality – both also part of Atlantik’s portfolio – are certainly an option.
In addition Atlantik Elektronik supports their customers during integration of the antenna, which can be optimally tuned towards the environment with the help of matching circuits. Also, evaluation boards provide an excellent first impression of the high performance of the miniature Brevis-GNSS antenna.
On top of the antennas, GNSS receivers and modems Atlantik Elektronik offers a wide portfolio of products for typical GNSS solutions which comprises for instance microcontrollers and Bluetooth Smart solutions.
