The Telegesis Ethernet gateway GW-357-1 offers a really cost effective communication solution for network operators. The gateway can access data from ZigBee Local Area Networks and at the same time enable remote management of local ZigBee devices.With options such as power-over-Ethernet, RS232, RS485 and an SD card Interface for internal data storage, the Ethernet gateway is a direct solution for ZigBee Smart Energy (ZSE) or ZigBee Home Automation (ZHA) deployments.
Built around the Telegesis ETRX357 this gateway GW-357-1 can access data from ZigBee Local Area Networks and at the same time enable remote management of local ZigBee devices.
It is therefore ideally suited to smart energy deployments where the domestic customer wants to access energy usage data via a web page whilst adding wireless home automation functions through the same gateway.
Applications include commercial lighting, health and fitness monitoring and industrial sensor network coordinator.
