IoT-baseret lysstyring

Greenvity introducerer ny generation af ‘smarte’ LED belysningssystemer (in english).

Atlantik Elektronik, provider of complete solutions, are expanding their range of Internet of Things (IoT) offerings and present Greenvity's solutions for intelligent LED lighting. Greenvity’s co-operation partner is Hodi Technologies, a leading Chinese manufacturer of LED lighting and smart grid systems.

The intelligent sub-components - GV controller, GV-LED, as well as the mobile app software - are based on the Greenvity Hybrii GV7011 and GV7013 SoC chips. The GV-LED modules are controlled from the GV controller either via Power Line Communication (PLC) using the existing power cable or wirelessly using ZigBee.

The GV-controller in turn forms the gateway to the local IP infrastructure and thus the possible connection to the Internet so that the LEDs can easily be addressed by mobile devices.

The GV-controller (home gateway)  controller module incorporates an ARM9 processor running Linux as well as the Greenvity GV7013 chip for home automation on PLC technology (HomePlug GreenPhy). It supports additional interfaces such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB, SPI, IEEE 802.15.4 with 6LowPan and IPv6 support.

The GV-LED (LED driver module) is ompatible with most existing industrial LED drivers and power supplies, the module based on the GV7013 chip is able to provide the full range of LED light control. on/off, dimming and also color temperature setting is done via Power Line Communication or ZigBee.

The GV-LED module can be installed inside the LED driver, the power management of the LED lamp, ceiling spot light or street lamp. Alternatively it is possible to use the module as a retrofit option.

Greenvity offers, in addition to the embedded software on the controller (gateway), a complete mobile app software (iOS / Android) bundled with the hardware modules.

These intelligent components have already been used by Hodi in spot lights, street lights, T5 and T8 lamps as well as other indoor and outdoor lighting solutions. The high quality lamps feature an intelligent brightness control and color temperature, creating a great atmosphere and at the same time contribute to energy savings.

IoT solutions from Greenvity focus on the control of LED lighting as well as home and building automation. These include LED lamps, ceiling lamps, high bay lights, LED tubes and street lighting that can be controlled in different modes such as on/off and dimming via smartphone or tablet. In addition, the color temperature oft he lamps can be set in different stages from warm to cold light via an app.

Greenvity‘s Smart Lighting Software Suite and mobile applications (iOS and Android) are provided with the modules without a license fee and enable smart monitoring, control and regulation of a network of up to 255 lamps. The API (Application Programming Interface) is open and documented so that OEM/ODM customers can add their own application software for differentiation and improvement of their own products.

- Greenvity‘s new turn-key IoT solutions enable rapid development and product launch at our OEMs/ODMs, without compromising on performance or reliability, says Ottmar Flach, General Manager of Atlantik Elektronik GmbH.

The GV- and GV-LED-controller are now available at Atlantik Elektronik. In addition Atlantik Elektronik also provide the software for lighting control and home automation systems, including mobile apps to OEM/ODM customers free of charge.
