Au Optronics tilbyder via distributionspartneren Data Modul ny serie af farve og monochrome displays til medicoapplikationer (in english).
The Taiwanese manufacturer AU Optronics, realized a turnover of 13,9 billion US$ in 2013. They are producing on their own glass production in Taiwan, TFT displays for the consumer market (monitor, notebook, TV) as well as products for the industrial area.Even though the quantities in this field are much smaller, AUO follows their very clear commitment for the industrial customers since 20 years already. This means, that minimum long term availability is guaranteed and afterwards a successor model, compatible in 'FORM, FIT and FUNCTION' will be available. The end of life will be announced 14 month in advance.
Especially for the demand in the medical industry, AUO has got invented a product family dedicated for this market with an extended minimum life time of 5 years and superior optical characteristics, such as specified color temperature, high contrast ratio, very good viewing angle (R/L 178°, U/D 178°C) with little color inversion. All the above mentioned features are reached by using AHVA-Technology (Advanced Hyper Viewing Angle) which is similar to IPS-Technology.
