DATA MODUL har for nyligt restruktureret aktiviteterne inden for 'Systems & Signage Solutions', der bl.a. adresserer displayløsninger til brug i lufthavne (in english).

The area of Systems & Signage Solutions in particular was recently restructured to be able to address the requirements from this market even more ideally. The Munich-based visual solution specialist DATA MODUL supplies device classes from open frame to outdoor products for indoor, outdoor and continuous use, and is Europe's largest distributor of industrial displays and components.

If several hundred monitors are planned for large projects, there is a series of procedures, certifications, qualifications and on-site appointments which must be carried out beforehand. In Germany, there is also the peculiarity of a long phase of evaluation, iterative authorization procedures and pitch presentations. Months or even years could pass before a decision on suppliers and delivery is made. A long time that could even bring crucial changes and innovations in the highly sensitive and fast-paced technology market.

It is necessary to plan in the most sustainable manner here, and to take into account all the potential uncertainties from the start. For this reason, DATA MODUL supplies display solutions available for the long term which are upwardly compatible in terms of software and hardware, and sets great store by direct communication between the project leaders of both sides during the entire project duration.

Demand-oriented and durable monitor solutions

To be able to meet the requirements of digital signage clients, DATA MODUL has developed a multi-stage model. Display solutions at Entry level are focused on signage applications where requirements for ambient conditions must only be set conditionally. However, particular hardware benefits already apply in the entry model, e.g. TFTs of high-quality are exclusively integrated.

On the next highest Professional level, DATA MODUL develops even more technologically complex devices beyond manufacture. The industrial client can, for instance, decide between different IP classifications. These depend on different application requirements concerning temperature, sunlight, dust protection and vandalism. A safety glass is already integrated for better protection. DATA MODUL determines components which are perfectly coordinated with one another, thus extending the product life cycle.

Displays of the Professional line can be found as display units at the POS/POI, check-in, kiosks and info terminals of airports, railway stations and retail stores, and are also used in other industries such as medicine, gaming and automation. DATA MODUL also supplies signage software to install content, as well as the latest device software to track the device status.

For decades, the Munich-based company has been successful with entirely customer-specific solutions (OEM) which are equipped at the same technical level as the professional sector.
Along with the large range of diagonals, other options such as the touch functionality are available, and/or complete corporate design adjustments can be made.

DATA MODUL's system & signage solutions are rounded off by the universally usable open frame panels. These system components are available for integrators in a variety of different brightness and touch designs in a diagonal from 7'' to 75''.
