The Toucan-0700 from TechNexion is a 7 inch widescreen plug-and-play HMI. This multi-touch solution is based on the Freescale i.MX6 ARM Cortex-A9 multicore technology. The Toucan-0700 crystal clear projective multi-touch LCD screen with LED backlighting offers a high resolution (1024x600) and a brightness of 500 nits.The CAN Bus and serial ports (RS-232/422/485) are galvanic isolated. The Toucan-0700 offers an attractive set of interfaces such as USB host, USB OTG, Micro-SD card slot, 4 GPIO's and HDMI for secondary display. Simply plug the Toucan-0700 onto your development kit and the display will automatically be detected.
The Toucan-0700 can be used with Linux 3.x, Yocto, Ubuntu, Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating systems.
