Atlantik Elektronik kan nu tilbyde den nye Holtek 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller, der takket været de meget lave energiforbrug er ideel i mange IoT-sammenhænge (in english).
Atlantik Elektronik presents Holtek´s new 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ Microcontroller. Due to the low energy consumption, the new series are particularly suitable for the boom market IoT and match perfect in the use for wearables where costs and easy integration are essential.The Holtek ARM Cortex-M0+ family is based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex core that runs up to 48MHz and can be used in a voltage range of 2.0V ~ 3.6V and an industrial temperature range of -40°C ~ +85°C.
The ARM Cortex -M0+ microcontroller from Holtek is a further improvement of Cortex -M0 and builds on decades of innovation and experience in embedded Flash microcontroller (MCU) technology.
As compared with the Cortex-M0 core, Holtek's Cortex-M0+ achieves ten percent more processing performance and energy requirements are reduced by one-third. The Internet of Things (IoT) pushes the connectivity of different battery-operated devices and focused functions such as security and low energy consumption.
The new Cortex-M0+ family members are available with 16kB to 128 kB Flash program memory and 2kB to 16kB of SRAM data memory. The new designed 6-channel PDMA is further enhancing the efficiency.
The devices are supplied in exceptionally small 24/28 Pin SSOP-, 33 Pin QFN- and 48/64 Pin LQFP-package types and contain up to 51 GPIO pins. Additional communication interfaces include USB 2.0 FS Device, 2 x USART, 2 x SPI, 2 x I2C, as well as an ISO7816 (SmartCard) interface.
In view of the forecasted 50 billion devices in the IoT-market in 2020, energy-saving MCUs will be required for these applications without further load on electricity networks or frequent battery changes. The design of the latest microcontroller family from Holtek has been tailored to these requirements and extends the battery life time of years to decades.
